Actually, that sounds like something I'd find useful too. . .

I can do some looking around, but my guess is that something like that would cost money. Who knows though, we might get lucky!

TheShabz, I don't know about kiffer, but for me, it would be useful because the database we use is maintained by our corporate offices and they periodically email us updates for it. Unfortunately, the individuals that maintain the system don't know anything about what we actually need to be able to do so I invariably end up making changes to it.

My current "How to handle updates from corporate" directions are now two pages long and include changes to Queries, Reports, Forms, and even VBA code.

Personally, I'd love to be able to compare updates to see just what was changed in each version. After all, if it's just a bugfix or a new Query/Report, then it would be simpler to just update that in my copy of the database than to replace the whole thing and then update it.

    P.S.
    LOUD NOISES!

@ Rawb, is it possible to send updates to an MDE ?, if so where can i find more info on how to do this.

Is your "how to handle updates from corporate" a guide, and if so can i get a copy to read through ?

As long as you have the original .mdb file you made it from, sure. Just make the changes to that, convert it, and then you're golden.

As for my guide, it's really just a collection of notes on what needs to be updated. The format is as follows:

    Reports to Export:
    rptReport1
    rptReport2

    Queries to Export:
    qryQuery1
    qryQuery2

    Forms to Update:
    frmForm1:
Add Button1, give it an On Click event with the following VBA Code
    <Code Here>

    frmForm2:
Replace Button2's After Update event to the contents of file File1.txt

    etc.
