Border not appearing on blank fields - Report

    Hi,

I have various reports I would like to be able to print. Each field in the report has a border that I would like to show whether the field is blank or has a value. This works for all the fields on my report except for one: my employee number field.

Does anyone know why this might be or how I can fix it? The field is a number field.

    Thanks.

I found the answer here. The CanShrink property needs to be set to No because it recognizes the blank field as having no value so it hides it completely.
