simple question about combo boxes.

I have a combo box to chose staff for a job. In the box itself its displaying the staff ID then followed by the name. When clicked it just shows the ID. What option do I change to set the staff name as the first field in the list?

One option would be to hide the ID column using the column widths property of the combo. Another would be to display the name separately:

I want it to just save the ID... that's fine I just don't want to see the ID ever. changing column width wont work because once the record is selected it ONLY shows ID. so its not like I can move over the correct text, I cant see that text.

I have a few set up right. For some reason I cant do it today.

If it's showing ID you don't have the widths right. A width of 0 hides a column.
