Is it possible to use an append query to populate a junction table

I have a table with it's design based off an excel sheet I was using for my movies. Now I am switching over to using a junction table based on a movie table and actor table. Is it possible to create an append query to take the movie name and one of the actor columns and append it into the junction table?

Yes, its certainly possible and in fact quite simple to do.
See my article Populate Junction Table (isladogs.co.uk) which shows more than one approach to doing this
