    Exporting Excel to Access

I understand that exporting is easy, but is there a way for me to line the columns up? The database and the excel worksheet have all the same fields it is just that the fields in access are in different tables and the fields in excel are all in the same worksheet.
Any help is appreciated and thank you in adavance

in access , use external data tab, click excel
    select file
then either import, or link the file.

Why is Excel involved? Why is data not entered/edited directly in Access?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
