Embedded subreport is visible in Report/Form views but not print preview - won't print with report

I have a subreport in an Access 2013 report that appears correctly in Form/Layout views but disappears in Print Preview. (I did not design this; it was given to me to fix). In Design view, the selection type is Subform/Subreport and the data appears as a scroll bar. In the property sheet it is listed as visible, and I can't figure out why the data displays in form view but will not print with the rest of the report.

Happy to clarify any confusion; need to fix this for work and would be very grateful for any assistance!!

You are mixing references of form and report ('Form/Layout' and 'form view'). Did you mean to say 'report'? Is a form involved at all in this report design?

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

It is a subreport within a larger report. I meant that the subreport is visible in both the Report and Layout views, but not Print Preview.

    Thanks in advance!

Same situation. Never encountered this issue. No idea why subreport is not printing. Really need to examine report design.

Unfortunately the data is confidential (proprietary info) and I can't send the database...thanks anyway, hoping I can figure it out but doubtful

Don't need your confidential data. As suggested in instructions, make copy, delete confidential data (or all real data and provide some 'dummy' entries for testing). Or import relevant objects to another db (again, no confidential data in tables).
