I am lost on Lesson 21!

In Lesson 21 of the Microsoft Access 2010 database tutorial shown here:

    http://www.functionx.com/access/Lesson21.htm

    It states

Practical Learning: Using the Boolean Data Type

    1. If the Field Templates window is not available, on the Ribbon, click Datasheet, and in the Fields and Columns section, click New Field.
The Fields Templates, from the Basic Fields section, drag Checkbox and drop it on the right side of Stories.

Please explain what they are saying here! It is not clear, there must be a line of instruction missing. I simply cannot find the areas on MS Access 2010 Ribbon that they are talking about.

    Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

This tutorial using naming convention most of us advise against.

Spaces and special characters/punctuation (underscore is exception) should not be in names for anything. Better would be DriverLicNum or Driver_Lic_Num, not Diver Lic. #.

Should not use reserved words as names.

I think the tutorial is describing Access 2007 ribbon https://support.office.com/en-us/art...5F3546F6B0#bm4

The equivalent in 2010 is probably the Fields tab when table is in Datasheet view.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
