"Could not find file <file path." - Error 3024

    Hi,

I've gone ahead and split my db and moved it to a new file location. Now whenever I try to use the front end, it can't find my back end db. How do I change the place Access looks for the back end?

    Thanks.

In database tools tab click 'Linked Table Manager'. Select all your linked tables for that db and click OK and it will prompt you to find a new location. Navigate to where you stored your backend and click 'open' then it should take you back to the Link Table Manager dialog box and select OK. It will update your tables and you will be good to go!

Have you tried launching the Linked Table Manager? You should be able to find it within the Ribbon and under the External Data tab.

Great, thanks. I also encountered the problem when I tried to put the db on a USB stick to work from home, so this solves that issue too.
