Basing criteria on another Field

Hi all,



Ok i will try to make my question as clear as possible.

I made a query... now, to simplify, lets say i have 2 fields in my query.

Field: Required_Amount ................. Actual_Amount
Table: Instructions ....................... Storage


Now lets say i want to find all the "objects" where i have more Actual amount than required amount : where Actual_Amount > Required Amount

How do i insert this into the criteria?

I can't tell if those are in different tables? In any case, generally:

SELECT Field1, Field2
FROM TableName
WHERE Field1 > Field2

In design view, you'd put

> Field2

in the criteria of Field1

yeah they were 2 different tables.. THanks that solved it thanks.. have another issue but its not related to this question so i hope its all good if i start another thread
