Login form buried behind background form and I can't access anything in the database

I have a database for inventory tracking of parts. When access loads the database the background form is set to load then the login splashes in front of the background. My issue is the login screen loads behind the background and I have no way to "close", "close all" or even close access (other than AltF4) ... all I get is "dings" since the login screen is behind the background. I do have a backup copy of the database that I use for "sandbox" to play in for modifications to the original, but the several of the tables are not current in the sandbox. Any help would be appreciated. Attached is a screen shot of what I have to work with.

Have you tried opening the db while holding down the Shift key?

It sounds as if the initial "Background" form is opening as "modal", which means you can't put anything on top of it. What I would suggest is having the user log in first, and then display the "background" form.

I marked it as "Solved" for you. For future reference, that function is under "Thread Tools" on the green toolbar undernesth the thread title.
