    Help Require (Macro Save button )?????

    Dear All,

    I have a form named form1 With following description.
    Po #. W.O # ses#. Contract #. Total Amount and Retention Amount.
    I want to generate a table where i can store all the above fields.
    I want a macro (Save button) in form so that if i click the Save button all the
    corresponding fields saved to Table.

    Please assist ?

    Help is deeply welcome.

    Access is different than other applications such as Word and Excel where you have to actually save your information. In Access there is not a need to save the record. The data is being written to the table when the user enters it.

    There is a "Save" function in Access but you would really only need to use that if you were doing something like if it's pressed, a query would be ran that would append the records to a table. Theres other reasons that it can be used too but typically it's not needed. Is there a specific reason why you would need that?
