    forum thread locking - why?

    I'm using Internet Explorer 11

Over the last few days, I've found that about 50% of the time when I either go to a thread from New Posts, or by clicking on the link in an email notification, the thread opens but then locks around half way down - i.e. the (vertical) scrollbar will move, but the thread doesn't. The result being that I cannot scroll to the top or bottom to click on reply to thread or use the quick reply.

Clicking the refresh button one or more times clears the problem, but once I've saved my post it will lock up again.

I've tried closing and reopening IE and rebooting but the problem persists. I've also tried using chrome and firefox for browsing the forum and not experienced the same problem - but since it is intermittent I cannot clearly confirm this is a IE11 problem only.

I'm not getting the problem on any other website/forum - has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, is there a solution?
