Exporting to a custom Excel template

I'd like to take queries of Access data and export them to a template that I made in Excel (for statistical analysis). Is it possible to export to a custom template? How do I do this? Thanks.

Any reason you dont want to do the statistical analysis while in Access and just export the final product into whatever output type you need?

The person I'm doing this project for wants it that way. I'd like to know how to do it the export way, and also how to do it in access (I have little knowledge of access, so i think it would be interesting).
