I am glad to hear the videos were helpful. I did have plans to create some tutorials on functions. In fact, the premise behind the msgbox function series is to act as an introduction to functions and methods. However, there are some other things that should be addressed before building fancy functions.

I started with a rough draft on a series for debugging. I would like to create a series on debugging and functions. Right now, I am still undecided on what software and equipment to use for the screencasts. The one I used was great for maintaining fidelity and, at the same time, keeping the files size reasonable. That software is now deprecated and I am at a crossroads.

I know it does not need to be perfect, but I would like to have a system that will work into the future and generate a good product.

    ItsMe,

Did you use ScreenCast-O-Matic? I think I asked you that before but can't find such a post. I've seen tutorials recently that indicated a free version of it. I think the limit was no editing and max of 15 minutes??? I don't use any such software but have some interest in finding something free with some documented features. Their latest (linked above) price seems very reasonable.

    camstudio is free

    http://camstudio.en.softonic.com/

I think this link is safe - it is on a number of unsafe download sites

I've used it off and on (v2.7) through XP, Win8 and win10

I used Microsoft Expression for the tutorials I uploaded. I used a license from my MSDN subscription. I really liked the software and it is too bad it is no longer supported.

The only software out there that seems to have the correct features is Camtasia. Right now I just need to make the time. I have a few things I need to take care of first, like build a couple of machines for work and such.
