    Hi,
I make a database with access for my clinic (which is attached herewith), It is include the two tables and one form. Now I need search a patient who visit previously, by Registration number or contact numbers or name or date of 1st visit. I have no idea about this. Some one please see my designed access file and help me to search data from my database also i would like to update the record after the search.

    thanks

There is a sample db at the end of this FAQ that demonstrates one method of creating a search form:

    Hi pbaldy,
Thank you very much for your help and comments. Actually Ur sample database and description is very helpful to me. But I need to search any record then I need to edit it within the searched form. (As a example if I search some customer using the contact number then I need update his records with in the searched form). Please give me any help to find about that.
    Thanks again.

That sample should allow edits within the subform, unless I goofed something up while setting it up for download.
