Get Oracle Databse Password I am Linked to from an Access form

    Hello Guys

    I have the following case:

I have an access Form (2013) that is linked to an oracle database.

At the first time I am connected to that database It was recommended to enter the Password for this database (1 time only)

Now i forget the password of the oracle database I am connected to.

On the ms access application I am connected to the database successfully and I am not obliged to enter the password anymore since in ms access i just enter the password only at the first time I connect to the database.

Is there a way to find the password of the database I am connected to?

    Thanks for your concern

My guess is that there is an Oracle DBA associated with the database, and that he/she could tell you the password you were assigned (or give you a new one).

if you have a linked table, look in the MSysObject table - you'll see the password there

Dear Can you be more specific?
Is the password found in the Connect Column under name PWD?

    Thank you

it is in the connect column and is usually stated as 'PWD=password' where 'password' is your password.
