Beginner access user! Now that that's out of the way, I need help. I am trying to create a database that will have a CRM and the ability to do construction job costing, proposals and queries. I build swimming pools. So, I need to know how to set up the tables. If I have to figure the cost of a job, I need the ability to enter costs for 1 item sold from different subs. For example, if I sell a customer a bench, it will COST me an amount from my excavator, my steel crew, my gunite crew and plaster. These are different vendors. But, since I am creating a proposal, I need to be able to have a retail price for this bench (per foot) and have the database figure my exact cost. How would I set up the tables?
