Occasionally getting this error when I save

I have attached a jpg of a picture of the error in action.

I am the only one using the program at the moment so I am not sure what is causing this.

On this part I am not sure what value I should use. I click decimal and it puts in number 9500. If I just click OK and then go back into MaxLocksPerFile it is back to hexidecimal. Any suggestions on the size of the number to set it to? The following is their wording:

In the right pane of Registry Editor, double click MaxLocksPerFile.
On the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, click Decimal.
Modify the value of the Value data box as required, and then click OK.
