Question Blank spaces at start of entries

I recently downloaded some company names into my Access database but
they are all indented by two blank spaces. This creates problems when doing a sort of the company names. Can anyone suggest how I can delete the spaces en masse without resorting to individual deletion?

Hope some kind soul has the answer.

Check out the Trim, LTrim and RTrim functions, used in an UPDATE query.

believe it or not, sometimes the trim functions don't work on situations like this. if it doesn't, use the right() function to update the recs:
    Code:
    right([field], (len([field]) - 2))
