Contract Termination Date Needed

I have a few pieces of information and need to build a field that automatically populates the termination date. Based on contract I have the effective date (start date) which is m/d/y format. And I will know the number of months as part of the deal. So it can be 5/5/13 with a 39 month term. I'd like to build in access a calculated field for the expiration date.

I get an error using the DateAdd function. I've even taken it directly from online and pasted it directly into the box, still no good. I'm on a MAC, so my Access is off a Win7 virtual machine running Access 2010.

What error message? Post the expression you used. If used in a query, post the entire SQL statement.
