    Persistent .ldb

Hello all ... in Access 2010 front-end I drop tables linked from a back-end MDB ... but the back-end MDB's LDB stays ... anyone know how to kill it please so I can kill the MDB too?

Things to try if you can't manually delete the ldb:

Find what user has the file locked. You can open the ldb with Notepad and read usernames. Have them open then close the frontend, see if that releases the backend. See if they still have an Access process running in Task Manager, delete it. Have them reboot their computer.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
