    Countdown function from excel to Access

    Hello,

    I am fairly new to Access. In the past I ran the function below on my excel spreadsheet as a countdown, and I would like to inquire to as to whether I can use it in Access. I realize spreadsheets and databases are different, but my inventory cannot function to it's full capabilities without a countdown.

    =IF($E15="Inbound",IF(D15="","",D15+30-TODAY()),"")

    I have attached files to better illustrate what I'm attempting to create.

    Exactly what does 'countdown' mean - count down of what? Instead of me trying to deconstruct your spreadsheet to figure out what it is doing, please describe your requirements in simple English.
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
