    Split Database Question

I am very new at Access and was wandering when you use a split database are the user interfaces the same? Im thinking of making a database but I cant wrap my hands around what would appear different on the 2.
    Thanks

When you split the database, the back end file contains only tables. The front end contains all the forms, reports, etc. Only the front end has a user interface.
