Using the (000.00) for a negative number

    Hi Guys

I have a access database that produces yearend accounts, I would like to use the (000.00) when there is a negative number which is a standard accounting method, I can format this in excel but there doesn't seem to be that function in access, anyone have any ideas how this can be achieved?

    Thanks in advance

Haven't looked at June7's link but all you need to do, in the Format Property of the Control is use

    000.00;(000.00)
