    Error Message

I'm running Access 2013. We have purchased an "canned" application. The database has been split. I'ts my understanding that any modifications that need to be made should be made to the back end of the database. When i attempt to open the back end of the database I get the following error message. As a test i created a few tables and forms and loaded them on my laptop, i split the database and linked the tables. I attempted to open the back end and got the same error. I'm a new user and beating my head against the wall. Thanks for the insight and the help. I do appreciate it.

We set each user's Access application properties to not care about security because the only db they run is the one I built.

Open just Access (don't need a db open) > click the office button at upper left > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings > Enable all macros ...

Or maybe you could set one of the Trusted options (I've never bothered with this, don't know if it will solve your issue) instead of Macro Settings.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
