Is it a dynamic parameterized query? Where is the query? Is it the RecordSource of the form the combobox is on?
Maybe in combobox AfterUpdate event:
Me.Requery

Bingo June7, me.requery worked! Yes, it's is a dynamic parameterized query. No the record source is a table.
