Send Automatic Email Upon Receiving a Request in Access Through Outlook

    Hello every one!

I'm trying to use Access to send an automatic email reply upon receiving a request from a customer/employee, telling them that their request has been received and this is the tracking number and the due date of service completion. How can I do that? And I want it using Outlook because all the contacts are saved in Outlook and all emails sent and received through Outlook.

Please note that I'm an Intermediate. And the version is Access 2010.

Your help will be highly appreciated!

    Thanks.

I get the impression this won't be easy. How should Access know email has been received?

Maybe this should be programmed in Outlook, not Access.

Auto-reply can be manually configured in Outlook, review https://support.office.com/en-us/art...rs=en-US&ad=US
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thank you June7. I want something like registering in this forum for example. Once you register, you receive an email with your Username and Password. If there's a way in Outlook or Access to automatically send the new tracking number for the recipient once they submit a request, and mentions the due date of service completion (each service has a different set of time for completion) it would be great! Could you think of a way?

No, I did some searching and found nothing for programming this in Access. There must be some event to trigger a procedure. What event in Access could be triggered by the receipt of an email in Outlook? You could click a button to initiate procedure. Maybe could program a timer behind a form to run procedure periodically. Maybe a VBScript could be scheduled in Task Manager.
