Bypassing switchboard in a db that another developer made

    Hey all,

I have an Access DB that I am needed to create new queries/tables/forms in but the developer who originally created it has put in a switchboard that comes up when the DB is opened. I cannot find a way to get past this to see the Database window and unfortunately the developer has left the company a couple of years ago.

I have the .mdb file for the database and have already tried the 'Shift' key trick but that doesn't work (buttons show up on the top tool bar but I can't click on them). I am using Access 2002.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you import the db into a new, blank db?

*bangs head on desk* Yes I was able to import it into a new database and have full access to everything in it. Easiest, simplest answer worked the fastest. Thanks a bunch
