what screen size to design in and how to preview?

I've seen advice on what screen size to design for (1024x768 seems a good default) but how do you preview your design work so you can judge your layout on a full screen?

Form view displays with all the other access toolbars and windows and I can't find a full screen view toggle button anywhere so i can have a quick check.

    What do you guys do?

Maybe design for the smallest screen any of your users works with.

Guess you would have to change your monitor resolution if not already in that resolution and click the Maximize button on the app.

Not an issue for me. Everyone has a 20" monitor. We are thinking about using some tablets and I have a couple of forms that would have to be scrolled on smaller screens, although doubt tablet users will need those forms.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
