Can't figure out why this find unmatched query isn't working

    Hello,

I've been struggling trying to understand why my "Find Unmatched" query isn't working as it should. In this example, names removed to protect the innocent, Data Check is the Find Unmatched Query and it's saying that the Output Query should match the Input. However these two keys, website.com/zzz1/1/2014 & website.com/zzz2/1/2014, of the Output Query are missing CTR, which I'm checking against, so I'm wondering why that's not being picked up in Data Check. Could someone please take a look? Thanks!Example.accdb

You have ID joined in the query (Data Check). Dont do this...the ID field is just a random number genereator and means nothing.
You want to find unmatched items in your known data fields. Perhaps website. But not the ID.

Hello ranman256, I'm not joined on ID. I created a field called Key in order to uniquely identify similar rows among the tables and I'm actually checking on that Key and the CTR field (both set as Null) in the data check query. Can you please look again.

I've kept working on this and have narrowed it down further. The problem seems to be with matching on the CTR field. The query works fine on Key Field if I only match on that. However, now I can't figure out why Access won't look for unmatched among CTR Field. It is a calculated field but other than that I don't have any ideas.
