    Sharing the database

    Hi!

If i want more than one person to be able to access the Microsoft Access database, how is this done? I understand you have to split the database which I have done but how does this work so that more than one user can use it?

    Thanks!

Frontend links to backend tables. Each user runs their own copy of the frontend. Just like each user runs their own installation of any application, such as Excel or Word.

Then your next question might be: "How do I manage updates of the frontend so each user gets latest version?" Review https://www.accessforums.net/code-re...end-33331.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
