    adp accessing issue

I inherited an Access 2000 adp database that is locked down tight.
The previous developer set it so when the user starts up the database a particular form appears, and only the menu items he wanted them to have access to. Normally I would hold the Shift key down to by-pass this, but in this case that doesn't work. I suspect there may be code at the startup that is blocking this option.
Does anyone know how to get around this?
Your help will be very much appreciated.

It's not because you only have runtime access is it? This would stop you getting 'behind the scenes'
What happens whn you choose design view on the main form?

I should have stopped by here yesterday. I did find a solution to my problem. The issue was that the bypassKey property had been set to stop the shift key from bypassing the open settings.
A little bit of code in another database allowed me to disable the property and access the file.
    Thanks for trying to help.
