SSMA converted date/time to datetime2(0) but linked table shows it as text

I used the SQL Server Migration Assistant to convert a table to a SQL table. I selected the link table option so I can still use my Access database. However, when i did it seems that the date/time field was converted to a text field in Access. When i view the table properties it shows that field as text and if I try to run a query based on date it doesn't work.

It looks like the SQL Server has it right but the access linked table does not. Is there any way to fix this?

I have links to SQL db and not seeing that issue, but they weren't migrated tables.

Try setting new links and see if the issue persists.

Ooops, sorry, it's an Oracle db I link to.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
