    Hide Sections of Access Ribbon

Is there any way in Visual Basic to hide certain elements of the main ribbon? I would only like to show the "File" tab on the ribbon, but I have not been able to find any information on the topic.

Alternatively, I would also be interested in knowing if there is a way to lock the "Options" menu in the "File" tab.

    Thanks
