Have you tried it? I run a number of 2000 mdb's on PC's with 2007, and they run fine.
have done alot of 03 - 07....sometimes they run fine with no issue at all. sometimes even users have moved to 07 without even telling me.....but othertimes there is code that barfs; I've not really seen a consistent reason to it...you just kind of have to work thru the issues case by case; if you are implying your's won't run at all - then one would guess you have an event firing upon open that needs to be tweaked or possibly you haven't set up the trust center parameters....
I did get the MS Access 2003 to function in MS 2007. Everything worked fine except the switchboard buttons for various reports. When I looked at the reports in either the design or print preview views, I get the following error message, " There was a problem retreiving printer information for this object. The object may have been sent to a printer that is unavailable". What's even stranger is that I opened the MS Access database on three different laptops (two with MS Access 2003 and one with MS Access 2007) and one of the Laptops with MS Access 2003 and one with MS Access 2007 displayed the above error message. What's causing this error message?have done alot of 03 - 07....sometimes they run fine with no issue at all. sometimes even users have moved to 07 without even telling me.....but othertimes there is code that barfs; I've not really seen a consistent reason to it...you just kind of have to work thru the issues case by case; if you are implying your's won't run at all - then one would guess you have an event firing upon open that needs to be tweaked or possibly you haven't set up the trust center parameters....
For starters, I would make sure a printer is defined on each machine.
opening an Access Report triggers the printer driver for some reason that I don't fully understand. but I am certain on this point....a bad priinter driver (or a missing printer?) will impact your ability of open a Report even in preview mode..... not sure if there is a work around as now that I type this - it certainly is a hassle for laptops.....
if it was just happening on the 07 - I would say to just remake the buttons that don't work - - - but it sounds like it is happening in both 03 & 07 so I would double check them when there is a printer attached and see ....
