    Look Up User.

Ok, I'm making a database to house personnel information. The primary key is the SSN, and it's used when first adding someone to the database. However, in the future, if information needs to be added to that person's file or a record needs linked to that them, the SSN will likely not be available to the end user. Also, I wouldn't want them snooping around the tables either.

Soooo, how do I add a feature to look someone up based on first and last name on the form?

The simplest solution would be to allow your users to use the built-in filter functions. Just right click on the textbox and use any of the top four options.

    Cheers,

I feel silly for not having realized that earlier. However, I ran into yet another problem trying to get that working out. Upon reopening the Form, it doesn't save any of my entries as possible records. So it has nothing to look up, and returns an error message. Any ideas why this is?
