Upsizing Access to SQL Server Express - Do Modules transfer?

I see there is a wizard in Access to upsize to SQL Server. I already have the same tables built in SQL Server, and Access linked to those tables as we upload data to those tables after parsing them.

Eventually we want to get the parsing done in SQL Server and load the files directly into SQL Server. However, with help from you guys in the past with the modules, I don't know if the modules will move over and where they are stored.

Can you give me a little info on this?

    Thank you very much.

To the best of my knowledge, modules will not be upsized. The VBA would need to be converted to T-SQL, and I'm not sure that could be automated. If they did, they'd probably end up in functions or stored procedures, but I'll be very surprised if they convert.

Thanks Paul. I went though the upsizing process and they did not convert. On to learning about functions and stored procedures in SQL Server Express!

No problem, and good luck! I haven't used Express, but I assume it has all the same tools available.
