    Recurring Scheduling/Appointment Database

    Hello,

I work for a music studio that provides lessons for kids. We have 8 teachers and I am looking for a database that can support scheduling recurring lessons for various teachers.

I have looked at multiple example databases on the web, but have yet to see something that meets my requirements.

Does anyone know of a doctor/hairdresser/etc. scheduling database that might be suitable to my needs?

    I need:
    • Multiple clients with recurring appointments
    • Multiple service provides with various availability
    • The ability to cancel and reschedule
    • The ability to not double book
    • generate reports of upcoming schedule

I know that something like this is pretty complex, but if anyone knows of any examples that are floating around out there I would really appreciate hearing about it!

    Thanks!

I doubt you're going to find something out of the box that meets your needs. Have you attempted to build your own or are you looking for something that is basically plug and play.

Calendar database has been topic of numerous threads. It is not any easy db to build. Search forum - here is one https://www.accessforums.net/program...dar-45047.html

Likely you won't find anything (free or paid) fully meeting your requirements and will have to modify. But this looks close http://www.microsoftaccessexpert.com...-Database.aspx

Tracking 'recurring' appointments requires creating records for all those future appointment dates.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    You could also try www.Databaseanswers.org/Data_Models/Index.htm.

They have a lot of templates. Maybe you can find one in there to suite your needs.

P.S. I think the ask for a small donation for each template.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
