    Add a calculated date field

I am trying to add a calculated date field in a query, I have 2 fields and 1 of them has a date and the other one i would like to to be 3 years from the date of the first field.

Have you looked at the DateAdd() function?

In design view, in a new field:

    ThreeYearsOut: DateAdd(...)

filling out the appropriate arguments for the function, and calling it anything you want.
