    autonumber

    Hi Guys,

    I am trying to set a field that can automatically acquire the next PO#.

    Our PO# is in the format of K-xxxx, where xxxx being a 4 digit number. It will start with K-2084. When I add a new record, the PO# field will find the highest PO# and add 1 to it.

    Assuming the latest PO# is K-2087, when a new record is created, it will automatically set the PO# field's default value to K-2088(K2087+1).

    Can any one kindly suggest a way to do this? or even better some template that have this kind of function?
