    How to register an ActiveX control


    Dear all,

    I'm using an activeX control and access gave me an error message showing that "I must register the ActixeX control. Can someone help me in order to have instructions how can i do this?

    This article is for 2010 version..My own its 2007. Can you please apply some info for this version?

    Actually, on second look, the reference to Tools menu makes me think it is for Access 2003.

    Good Morning June7,

    First all i would like to thank you about your help. But, still having problem because actually i wanted to register the Snapshot Viewer Version 10.0 Read me File and i'm getting error again. I tried the instructions "how to register the ActiveX control" but still having error message from access when i open the database.

    Please your help.

    If the Snapshot Viewer Control is in the list of ActiveX Controls it is already registered. No need to register it again. Simply add it to your form using the activex control in design view. You will get the same list and be able to select the Snapshot Viewer Control.

    I've never registered an ActiveX control. My one and only attempt to failed. The referenced link is all I can offer.
