    Dlookup??

    Hi

I'm sure this is very simple but my head is spinning.

    Table MilkOut Fields Date AO
    Table ProductionDate Fields Date, AO
    Form MilkOut Fields Date

I have created a form where the user enters the 'date' and other data. This data updates the Table 'Milk Out'.

I would like to be able to then use the 'date' entered in the table 'Milkout' to look up an AO value (production code) from the table 'ProductionDate'.

I've had a look at Dlookup, but I not too sure how to go about it.

The 'AO' value from the 'MilkOut' Table is to be used in a report later on.

Not the best way to start a Monday!

    Thanks

I hope your field name is not DATE since that is a reserved word and will cause you grief later on. http://www.allenbrowne.com/AppIssueBadWord.html
