You can't really do option buttons with pop up criteria windows. You'd have to design your own form with the options you want then build your query/report based on the possible selections from that option group.
Well... Like I said I'm totally new in to Access, the company I work in just handed me this database so I want to learn how to add that form, can you tell me step by step or help me though team viewer?
somewhere in your query you have a criteria of
[What Period?]
What do you normally enter for this query for it to work as intended? A date? is the date the last date of a quarter? the first date of a quarter?
Whatever it is, you have to find a way to substitute the criteria [What Period?] with something like
[forms]![reportsetup]![mycriteriafield]
Where you would create a form named REPORTSETUP and on that form you would have your option group and it would be named [MYCRITERIAFIELD].
I suspect you don't actually mean an option group in this case but you want to give a limited list of possible choices to your users you haven't given enough information to go any further than that though.
As for using team viewer... I have reasonable consulting rates!
