How to remove all images from the form design image gallery

I was recently trying out the attachment control on a form, reading in images as its defaultpicture from disk, until I noticed that with every call to defaultpicture, a mini image was being added to the image gallery where in form design on the ribbon it says "Insert Images".



I ended up doing this 200 times, and removing them all because I thought they looked rather stupid in there (many dozens of repeats).

1) Why does that happen
2) Is there a VBA routine which would dismiss / delete items in that gallery?

Not sure what you mean by 'defaultpicture from disk'.

1. don't know

2. are the duplicates prefixed with a number like 1_imagename - possibly could run an SQL DELETE action on the MySysResources table to remove every image that has number prefix
