    Question Auto Generate Record

I have run into an interesting problem that I have not been able to figure out. In the attached, I have a form EnterFin. From this form, I will enter data (this is an example DB, in the real there are many other fields). Assume all the records that need to be completed are already available in the form (do not need to create new records).

What I want to do is open the Abstract form (there is a button on the EnterFin form to do this) and when it opens, to open to the related record by prop id (no problem did that); however, if an abstract record has not been created for this record, then a new record should automatically be created in the Abstract form using the same PropID.

Then I want to do the same thing with the Test Result form, expect the Test Result form uses a composite key where I need both PropID and TestPeriod to be automatically populated.

Any help out there? If this is not possible, that is an answer too.

Solve, but it would take way too much time to explain what I did (tough time-line). No need for anyone else to spend their time on it.

    Thanks
