My guess is that you'd have a better chance of getting help with this if you posted it on an MS Word forum rather than on an MS Access forum, which is what this is!
The problem with making anything foolproof...is that fools are so darn ingenious!

It sounds as though you have an HDD (spinning platters) and a sector went bad.

Files ha e a beginning an an end to them.

Forensic software can recover your file. Recommend not using the physical hard drive where the word doc is located and contacting a local data recovery specialist.

Show them the message you posted. The software they use is expensive and so are their fees. With the info you have, they should be able to salvage what is left in a small amount of time.

Try opening that file using Open and Repair option provided in MS Word application. Otherwise, go for any third party repair application like Remo Repair Word that can easily fix any issues with Word and restores lost data from it. Try once…

    Hi there!

I suggest you to backup your file and apply Open and Repair function on the file. This feature is included in MS Word application and repairs less corrupted file. You may also read in detail about the solution: nalavadebela . wordpress . com/2014/07/25/repair-word-document-and-prevent-it-from-getting-damaged/

    Hope it will help you!

    Thanks.
