Restrict linking table access to one file

I have two different files for a database.

File #1 has the forms where users can access and add/edit entries based on what I give them access to do.

File #2 holds all the tables for the database.

File #1 with the forms links to File #2 with the tables and accesses the information through the link. I would like this only to be available for File #1 only.

My fear is that a user might create a new access file just to link the tables and then edit the data raw from this file.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

Perhaps with password protection on the backend? Review http://forums.aspfree.com/microsoft-...rd-399061.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
