Listbox Scrollbar - Can I move it to the left?

Some users have requested that a scroll bar on a listbox be moved to the left side of the control.

After playing with the ScrollBarAlign and Orientation properties listed here (Set to Left and Left-to-Right/Context, respectively)...

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ice.15%29.aspx

I have not seen any noticeable differences. I thought from the documentation that this would be pretty straightforward.

Is it possible to have the vertical scrollbar on the left side of the listbox control?
Are there some other properties that have to be in harmony for this to work (At the form level, for instance)?
Any other ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?

    Thank You!

I tried manually setting this property in the Property Sheet. It worked - sort of. I had to change the form Orientation property then open form in Form view, then when I changed the Orientation property back, the setting on the listbox held, until the next time I opened the db. Weird.

Ok thank you for trying to replicate, and at least yours did show some changes so that is promising. I will try to trace your steps and see if that helps. I guess they don't count on people wanting left sided scroll bars!

    Thank You, June7!

Changing Orientation at the Form Properties level to Right-Left did the trick. But just noticed that it switches the order of listbox items which sucks. I don't want to have to rewrite my queries as there are several that get loaded into this listbox.

Any ideas on avoiding this side effect?

Not with the intrinsic Access controls.
