I use a string to pass on to a SendObject command and send emails to several recipients. The limit of 255 characters for a String can be a problem if the email is meant for more than say 8-10 people. Can I use something other that a String for this?

Have you considered setting up a distribution list in your email software, and using that list as the "send to" argument?
That is actually how it is being dealt with. Many times the list changes and my database would be a lot more user-friendly if it did not rely on a distribution list. In a way, my database allows the user to customize his/her own distribution list and have full control from within the database. Thanks for the suggestion.
ANother alternative would be to send the object to one person at a time, basically looping through the intended recipients. Is that a viable option?
Currently Lotus Notes opens the email message before sending it even if the option to edit is set to FALSE. If I can get that changed your suggestion sounds like it would be a good option. Thanks again.
