How can I make the "+" function have more information in tables?

    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make a database that records keys. I've already set up everything to make my tables and relationships. However, my supervisor wants to be able to see more information when clicked on the "+" in the "Key Users" table. For example, she wants to be able to see the key name (instead of the Key ID number) and key type. I've been trying hard to find the solution to this and I hope one of you kind souls can tell me. I've attached the .jpeg depiction, or you can download the actual file through

P.S. My supervisor is aware that this can be done easily through queries, but she wants that quick glance when we click on the "+"

What you describe is why Forms were invented for Access.

Sorry if you misunderstood, but I'm not speaking of forms (I actually have forms in this database). I'm talking about more information to be seen in the table itself when expanded - not in the form...so my supervisor can see many keys simultaneously

I actually understood you perfectly. In a well built system the users would never be allowed to view the tables directly. In this case I consider your supervisor a user. I do not believe this native feature of Access can be altered beyond viewing just one key but maybe someone will drop by who knows of a way. Actually having those SubDataSheets referenced in your tables impacts the performance of the system. http://allenbrowne.com/bug-09.html
